2018 has turned out to be a productive year for the company. With constant project demands since January, including three of the grandest weddings at DWTC and ADNEC, The Illusionist at the DU Forum and Madinat Jumeirah, as well as the anticipated 2018 Government Games, SLS once again proves itself to be one of the industry leaders in large-scale production. With the company’s full operations in KSA, catering to a series of concerts in Jeddah, Abha and Dammam and the highly attended Souk Okaz in Taif, SLS exemplifies its versatility and scope of work in the events production industry.
SLS has made some big moves in recent months expanding the entire company but arguably their biggest focus has been on Audio. Major investments have been made in equipment and people and SLS recently welcomed Dan Dignan as HOD of Audio. Dan has been in Dubai for the past 7 years working with PRG Gearhouse and Protec. He has worked on the countries largest projects and has gained a wealth of experience in the middle east and beyond. Notable events include Sandance, which was the UAE’s most successful festival for many years, where he worked with the likes of Kings of Leon, the Killers, and Jamiroquai. Sensation, the UAE’s largest club night. To major corporate events such as the Dubai Canal Opening and the launch of the Saudi giga project “Quiddya”
Dan is driven to lead the SLS audio department to the highest standards, with purchases already being made to bring the inventory to the pinnacle of modern Audio. Newly appointed talents, as well as comprehensive training for his team, will provide them with the necessary experience and knowledge to operate at the levels expected by Dubai’s best production companies.
